The Port King port maneuver app makes the most important maneuvers easy to understand with just a few clicks – for correct and safe behavior in the port.

Because – damaged bathing platform, broken rudder, torn out stanchion or scratches in the ship’s side don’t ned to happen!

28 different maneuvers –
that's how it looks!

We have concentrated the concept on
frequently occurring standard situations:

The app can be used immediately and is quick and easy to use.

Here are two video examples:

Several variants are shown, depending on the wind conditions, starting with simple situations.

The maneuvers are kept short and clear so that they are quickly available in the app in an “emergency”. They are designed so that even a small crew (2 people) can perform them safely.

No fear of port maneuvers

Sailing is becoming increasingly popular, sailing courses are booming and charter fleets are fully booked. When it comes to port maneuvers, new skippers, but also some “old hands”, are often unsure at the helm. There is simply a lack of practice and experience if you only want to master the situation every one or two years with a different boat in an unknown area and a less experienced crew – without offering harbor cinema.

To make it really good, we have developed this app. So that every skipper can improve and benefit from the maneuvers.

Really well rated – thank you!

»Finally an app that explains port maneuvers quickly and clearly.

I’ve been looking for an app that can do exactly that for a long time, but it’s usually far too cumbersome, with huge texts and long videos trying to convey the material, but here it is finally explained concisely and with all the relevant information about what is important when casting off!«

»Honestly? Awesome!!! Just right for me as a newbie making my first trip as a skipper. As a student, you always had the skipper in charge. But now yourself? I think it’s really well done! I can actually call up the app just before docking or casting off and check again which is the best maneuver if the weather conditions have a very specific constellation. Thanks a lot guys. You’ve done a really good job.«
